Both Everton and Tottenham are keeping a close eye on French starlet Lenny Nangis, according to the Daily Star.
The 19-year-old Caen striker claims he is wanted by some of France’s biggest clubs but has indicated that he would consider a move to England should the opportunity be presented to him
But Nangis, who will be appearing for France at the European Under-19 Championships in Lithuania this summer, has also stated that he is very happy with the way things are going for him at Caen.
He told the Daily Star: “I am very happy with my form so far and I am looking forward to the Under-19 tournament in Lithuania.
“There are English clubs interested and also top French clubs, but I am very happy at Caen at the moment.”
Since signing his first proffesional contract at Caen in August 2011, Nangis has made nine first team appearances scoring one goal.
And Nangis has admitted that the interest from Spurs and Everton is a flattering prospect for him, but wants to put all his attention towards the upcoming tournament with France before making a decision on his future.
“Everton and Tottenham are top teams who make your head turn. But I need to focus on the upcoming championship,” he said.
Nangis has represented France every age level so far and it is thought it won’t be long before he makes the step up to their Under-21 side.
