Tottenham Hotspur have been rather impressive in recent times as they continue to hunt down a Champions League spot.
Spurs will find it difficult to keep up with the leading pack in the race for the Premier League title, so a top four spot will be their main aim from here on in. Although, it looks as if they’re currently focused on potential additions, as according to The Mirror, Tottenham are interested in Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Tottenham are keen on Watford’s enforcer Abdoulaye Doucoure with doubts over the future of Victor Wanyama.
However, the likes of Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal are also monitoring his progress.
Indeed, Wanyama just hasn’t been able to work his way into Mauricio Pochettino’s plans in the current campaign, which has forced him to weigh up a potential exit.
But, Doucoure isn’t the worst of replacements, having impressed in recent times at Watford.
The Lilywhites are currently lacking a dominant figure in the middle of the park that can really intimidate the opposition, which is why moving for Abdoulaye Doucoure makes perfect sense.
Indeed, Mousa Dembele has been linked with a move away in the past and Wanyama’s future continues to be surrounded with doubt, so the Watford midfielder could find himself in North London in January.
