Tottenham eyeing up move for 24-year-old Premier League talisman

pochettino9921Tottenham Hotspur are leading the way to sign Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson during the summer, after the striker returned to the first-team at the weekend.

The striker had netted five goals from seven games at the start of the season but hasn’t played since September after picking up a serious knee ligament injury.

This news which was spotted by our landlord in The Sun, as lifted the spirits with the Spurs faithful here in the Transfer Tavern, with the majority of them feeling that they are in desperate need of some backup for Harry Kane.

The Cherries are unlikely to want to sell such a prized asset but Champions League football might too much of a temptation to resist for Wilson, should a bid be made.

One Tottenham fan is chatting with his pals over a meal from the grill menu, here in the Tavern, with the said fan believing that Wilson is an attractive proposition as he is English and will be hungry to follow in the footsteps of Kane.

Spurs fans, would you welcome Wilson? Is there another striker you have in mind rather than the Bournemouth striker?
