Tottenham Hotspur could look to bring a player back to the Premier League in the summer.
According to a report by The Mirror, Spurs are set to reignite their interest in AC Milan’s Suso.
The 25-year-old, who found life difficult in the top-flight with Liverpool between 2012-15, has since found his feet at the Serie A side and has looked an exciting proposition.
The Spaniard has netted six goals this season, as well as providing eight assists in his 26 appearances across all competitions.
Mauricio Pochettino is understood to hold a ‘long-standing interest’ in the versatile attacking midfielder, as Suso can also operate on the right wing.
However, Tottenham are not believed to be the only Premier League side thought to be interested in bringing him back to England.
It is claimed arch-rivals Arsenal are also keen with Unai Emery an admirer of the attacker, who has a £35million release clause in his Milan contract.
Suso could be an excellent addition for Tottenham in the summer as he could offer them some creativity and real quality in the middle of the park.
The 25-year-old is still a little rough around the edges and could be the perfect player for Pochettino to try and further develop.
However, Tottenham could arguably be better off with other players this summer, with other areas of the field needing to be addressed.
