It’s hard to overstate just how well Tottenham have done this season, given their resources. The squad in north London has hardly seen an upgrade for the best part of 18 months, yet it isn’t showing.
Whilst so many of their rivals have spent big to improve the team, Spurs have been able to maintain their pace through hard work alone, and that’s a testament to Mauricio Pochettino’s quality.
What makes Tottenham’s impressive form even more of an achievement is the fact that they’ve also had their fair share of injury problems. Most notably, Harry Kane missed more than a few weeks in 2019 through injury, yet Spurs kept winning in his absence.
Now he’s back, and he looks set to be joined by another player that’s had injury problems this term in the form of Dele Alli. Dele hasn’t played since January, but as per the official Tottenham Twitter, he’s now back in training.

Unsurprisingly, this news has gone down very well over on Twitter, with many Tottenham fans desperate to get their attacking midfielder back on the field. In a week that saw Spurs reach the last 16 of the Champions League, the mood in north London has gotten even better.
Many Spurs fans are hoping it won’t be long before he’s back in action, as you can see below:
Over the moon he’s back. No way should he be allowed to go on England duty. Same as winks, trippier, Dier and Kane as they’re all just back from injury or injured.
