Tottenham fans want to see more of under-utilised Spurs man Kyle Walker-Peters

Tottenham had a rough evening on Wednesday when they took on Chelsea. One of the Premier League’s biggest rivalries certainly delivered on the expectation, with both Spurs and the Blues putting a lot into it and delivering a very exciting 90-minute game.

In the end, it was Chelsea that came out on top, though Tottenham can consider themselves somewhat unlucky not to have earned a better scoreline.

Undeniably the biggest moment of the game surrounded Chelsea’s second goal, which came to them by way of an own goal from Kieran Trippier. Tripper didn’t have the best game, and his deft pass into his own net certainly served to highlight that.

Unsurprisingly, Tottenham fans weren’t too happy with the Englishman’s display, and that’s left many of them calling for another player to start featuring in his place. Though Serge Aurier has been a regular this term, it’s a third option that fans want to see – Kyle Walker-Peters.

Walker-Peters has started just one Premier League game this season, but he’s bagged 3 assists in the English top flight (which came in a single game), whilst he’s also proven himself to be very solid defensively. He’s evidently a very popular man with Spurs fans online, as many are calling for him to get more action following Tripper’s struggles.
