Tottenham fans have very little expectations when it comes to transfer windows, especially after their summer. The Lilywhites became the first Premier League club ever to go through a whole summer transfer window without signing a player, and despite Mauricio Pochettino claiming there will be action in January, the fans aren’t confident.

Tottenham fans have little expectations when it comes to their football club. The last trophy they won was back in 2008 and the supporters would love to see that change, unfortunately, they’ll need to spend money for that to happen and if they do splash in January then they’ll be hopeful that silverware can follow. The last player they signed was Lucas Moura in January this year and they’ll be hoping they can sign another steal.
Pochettino will be hoping he can bag some of his top targets in January but the fans are sceptical. A lot of supporters will be hoping that the likes of Tanguy Ndombele and Matthijs De Ligt will be heading to North London, although with Daniel Levy’s track record, the fans will be expecting to see a few Championship players join the club as they go on to scrape 4th place and win no silverware.

Barkley would have been a fantastic addition last summer, he’d be running our midfield right now. But right price and right player are a hard combo to strike. Congrats to the club for being strong and poch for being so classy in the circumstances (and a genius)!!!

The fans are far from optimistic about the January window and will be hoping they can be proved wrong by Pochettino and Levy.
