Tottenham Hotspur fans far and wide will be tuning in to see their side play later this evening. The Lilywhites will be facing off against Barcelona in their final Champions League group match knowing that a win will see them qualify for the knockout rounds. However, with both Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier missing the trip through injury, young Kyle Walker-Peres is set to start.
“His quality is unbelievable. To play here at a place like the Nou Camp will make him stronger. We don’t have a doubt that he can perform." #COYS

Mauricio Pochettino has given a strong hint that he has no qualms over throwing the 21-year-old academy product into his starting eleven for the match and his comments, which you can read on the Tottenham website, indicate that it will be the youngster to start. It will certainly be the toughest test that Walker-Peters has faced in a Spurs shirt, but if his gaffer has faith in him then so do the supporters.
It looks like the 21-year-old is in a great position to make a name for himself against the Catalan giants, much like Jack Wilshere did for Arsenal when he was thrown in at the deep end by Arsene Wenger back in 2011. However, this will be a much different test. Tottenham simply have to win against Barcelona, or at least match Inter Milan’s result against PSV, if they want to be in the last 16 of the Champions League, and any slip up could prove costly. That, though hasn’t stopped the supporters from getting behind young KWP.

The Lilywhites have full faith in their youngster and will hope he can come good and spur his side onto all three points.
