Tottenham fans on Twitter buzzing for Kazaiah Sterling as youngster makes Sunderland loan

Tottenham fans can be forgiven for getting a little bit frustrated at the way their January transfer window went. No new players came in, but Mauricio Pochettino has made it clear that he’s happy with his squad. One of the only things to come out of Hotspur Way yesterday was Kazaiah Sterling’s loan to Sunderland, and the Lilywhites loved seeing that.
Good luck to @ksterling_98 who has joined @SunderlandAFC on loan until the end of the season. pic.twitter.com/KSBqETsFuM

The 20-year-old striker has been one of those who’s appeared to be on the edge of making a breakthrough for a while now, yet he hasn’t had the chances to do so. The young striker came off the bench for the final minutes of Tottenham’s FA Cup defeat at Crystal Palace but ultimately it seems he’s not ready for the standard of the Premier League, and a move to League One can only do him well.
Sunderland is a club that would be brilliant to go to as a young player at the moment. The Mackems have responded to their double relegation in the best way possible and they now sit in a promising position looking towards promotion. If Sterling can do for the Black Cats what he’s done at youth level for Spurs then he can surely make a name for himself and fire the club towards the Championship, something that the Lilywhites would love to see him do.

highly thought of, pacey and good at creating his own space to get shots at goal, admittedly have only seen him live twice I think. Hope he does well if plays regularly, been in the senior squad the past few matches.

Signs he can become our next “one of our own” superstars and follow in the footsteps of a certain Harry Kane. Sunderland a great place for him to be at the moment.

The Lilywhites love the look of Sterling’s loan and will hope he can return to the club with plenty of goals and minutes under his belt.
