Tottenham fans on Twitter have been getting themselves excited about Troy Parrott. The club always seems to have a wonderkid in the pipeline and at the moment that starlet is Troy Parrott. The 16-year-old striker was at his brilliant best in the FA Youth Cup yesterday, assisting Tottenham’s winning goal to set up a 4th round tie against Arsenal.
94 – GOAL! We’ve made a more energetic start to extra time and it pays off as Parrott rounds the committed keeper and squares for Richards to roll into the empty net. #COYS

The Lilywhites would love to see the young Parrott given a chance in the senior side by Mauricio Pochettino and you can’t blame them. Tottenham fans place a massive amount of trust in Pochettino and so far he’s yet to let them down, and if he was to pick the club’s 16-year-old striker, even just to give him some matchday experience as an unused substitute, then the fans would love it.
The Irish frontman has scored an incredible nine times in just six games in the U18 Premier League, amd when you factor in he also has three assists you’ve got a lad playing two years above his own age group who averages two whole goal contributions per game. It’s for that reason that the supporters absolutely love Parrott and are desperate to see him afforded a chance by Pochettino sooner or later.
You can read the Lilywhites’ calls for Parrott here:
Get Parrott in the first team match day squad – sell Llorente. Might as well give him as much exposure to first team football as possible. He looks fantastic.
