Tottenham fans on Twitter cannot wait for Troy Parrott’s senior shot

As far as Tottenham fans are concerned, Troy Parrott is the future. Harry Kane may be banging in the goals for them left, right and centre, but with his dodgy ankles and young Parrott’s record for the youth sides, there’s no reason why he can’t make the step up soon and start firing for Mauricio Pochettino’s first-team.

Tottenham fans take great pride in the young players that come through their ranks, with the likes of Kane, Harry Winks, Oliver Skipp and Kyle Walker-Peters all thriving in the first team. Now, though, the attention is starting to turn to who will be next to make the step up, and of all of the young guns in the U18s and U23s, Parrott is surely the one with the most attention on him.

This season has seen the young Irish striker firing on all cylinders for both of the club’s youth sides, as a 16-year-old for the U18s before turning 17 and then making the step up to the Premier League 2 with the U23s. There’s only one more step left to take now for the frontman, and it would be no shock to see Pochettino give the youngster a chance this season should they confirm a top-four spot with any games to spare.

You can read the Lilywhites’ calls for Parrott here:

The Lilywhites want nothing more than to see Troy Parrott in their senior side and would love him to be included on the bench against Brighton in a couple of weeks time.
