Every month, the top seven performing players are recognised for their form and are nominated for the EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month award. Now that November has passed, some fans have been turning their attention to who will win the POTM award for the month, and as Moussa Sissoko has been nominated, a lot of Spurs fans are in disbelief.

If you’d told a Tottenham fan this time last year, or even three months ago, that Sissoko would be a nominee for the player of the month award for November then they would have laughed in your face. However, that just sums up how amazing football is, as just a few brilliant weeks of form and all of a sudden Sissoko is looking like an undroppable force in Mauricio Pochettino’s midfield, and credit to the gaffer for making it happen.
It’s very unlikely that Sissoko will win the award, he’s nominated alongside the likes of Felipe Anderson, Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane who will all be favourites to win it. The outside of those four you’ve also got Lucas Digne, Andrew Robertson and David Silva who could defy the odds and win the public vote. Whether he wins the award or not, though, the Lilywhites are just over the moon to see their resurgent midfielder recognised for his form.

Poch truly is a miracle worker.

Never thought this would ever happen in a Spurs shirt, but fair play. He has really turned a leaf here. Hopefully he keeps it up!

Coys. To think the supporters of the club wanted him out. Poor fans.

The Lilywhites are loving life with Sissoko as a player of the month nominee and will hope he can win the award and back it up with some more great displays.
