Tottenham fans on Twitter don’t want to see £20m Jarrod Bowen swoop

After going through a whole summer transfer window without signing one single player, you’d think that Tottenham fans would be desperate to sign anyone, no matter who they are. However, the latest Sky Sports rumours have linked Tottenham to Hull City’s Jarrod Bowen in a £20 million move, and the Lilywhites hate the idea of forking out on him.

After Tottenham missed out on signing Jack Grealish from Aston Villa over the summer, the last thing that the Lilywhites want is to see their side miss out on yet another young English talent from the Championship. However, this is one that they’d rather not even enter negotiations for, the fans believe that given the stature of the club, they should be looking at much more prestigious targets than Bowen.
The 22-year-old winger has been in superb form over the last few months, though. At his young age he’s grabbed ten goals and three assists in 25 appearances for the Tigers, despite the fact he’s a winger, and he’s one of the stars of the current Hull City revolution that has seen the club rise from 22nd to 13th in just over a month as Nigel Adkins’ side have won their last five games and suffered defeat just once in their last 12 outings.

If we wanna be title contenders we should not be buying not worthy or proven to be good chanpion ship players

Shouldn’t be signing some Hull player anyway

If we can’t pay that also, then we should liquidate

Should be buying high rated players if we want to win the PL or trophies, not championship players imo

Take him over Grealish but not exactly what I had in mind to take us to the next level. No wonder Eriksen isn’t signing a new deal.

The Lilywhites hate the idea of poaching Championship talents and they’d much rather sign someone of a higher calibre than Jarrod Bowen.
