Tottenham fans on Twitter expect nothing but three points against Inter Milan

Tottenham face a huge crunch match tonight in the Champions League and the fans all know that getting a win against Serie A’s 3rd place side is a must if they want to progress to the round of sixteen of the competition. Even with a win, they could bow out against Barcelona in the final game-week, but that hasn’t stopped the Lilywhites from believing as they prepare for tonight’s clash.
A massive matchday.

Tottenham have slowly started finding their feet in the Champions League this season. After losing their opening games to Inter Milan and Barcelona, courtesy of two late goals at the San Siro and a Lionel Messi masterclass at Wembley. However, it then got better as they picked up four points against PSV across two matches to leave them just three points behind Inter needing to win their last two to progress.
Mauricio Pochettino has become a master of rotation this season with all of his injury woes, so it will be interesting to see who he opts to start this evening. The likes of Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko and Erik Lamela have been in sublime form so far this season and after Winks and Lamela were rested against Chelsea, the likelihood is that they will both get thrown in against Luciano Spalletti’s side at the national stadium.
