Tottenham Hotspur fans watched on yesterday as the team that knocked them out of the FA Cup, Crystal Palace, went on to secure a 2-0 win over Doncaster Rovers to set up a FA Cup quarter-final clash. That means that their clash with the Eagles in the Premier League will need rearranging and the fans are hopeful it will be played at the new ground.
Following Crystal Palace’s FA Cup fifth round win today, our Premier League clash at home against Palace scheduled for Sunday 17 March will have to be rearranged.

The new stadium has turned into a shambolic affair in North London. The club are constantly giving updates announcing more and more games will be played at Wembley, with the most recent update confirming that the game against Arsenal on March 2nd will be at the national stadium. However, a lot of the Lilywhites are still confident of moving into the new ground this season and they’re hoping it can be for that rearranged Palace game.
Ironically, had Tottenham actually beaten Crystal Palace in the last round of the cup then this wouldn’t be an issue, yet they fell to a 2-0 loss at Selhurst Park resulting in the game needing to be rearranged. It’s still unknown when the club will be returning to North London, although the fans cannot wait for their return and will be desperate to get back to their real home, even if their Wembley form is something to marvel at.
