We’re getting to a very make or break time in the transfer window. Any clubs that still have business to get over the line are in a tricky position as clubs don’t like selling this close to deadline day as replacements are hard to come by. However, according to Marca, Mateo Kovacic is refusing to train in Madrid until his futyre is resolved, with Spurs one of the possible destinations.

Tottenham fans everywhere are starting to realise that they could go a whole summer’s window withoiut signing a player and most of them are caught between tears and laughter as their club continues to toy with them. Daniel Levy is the man bearing the brunt of the fans anger, and for good reason, as the coy businessman had previously promised that the club would be active in the transfer market and that he’d work closely with Mauricio Pochettino.
Unfortunately, he hasn’t been working closely enough and whilst some Spurs fans are still optimistic of a Levy-style last-minute deadline day swoop for two or three players. That probably won’t be the case and Tottenham fans are going to have to settle for Jack Grealish. Saying that, if the Lillywhites did somehow bring in Kovacic, the Croatian would be an instant hit with Poch and would no doubt bolster the side, providing creativity and energy from midfield.

Too logical that we go for him

This is the one guy we have been linked with who I think could make a big impact on our first team.

I’d rather sign him over Grealish
