The full-back conundrum at Tottenham is a pressing one. Mauricio Pochettino has previously been dubbed ‘the full-back whisperer’ for how well he’s had the likes of Danny Rose, Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier playing over his time at Spurs. Both sides of his defence are now something of problem areas, though, and the fans want to see Kyle Walker-Peters start tomorrow evening.

It will be hard for Pochettino to prepare for the Southampton game given the on-going situation at St Mary’s with Mark Hughes being sacked and the appointment of Ralph Hassenhuttl. However, the Saints’ new man won’t be in the dugout for the clash. No, instead he will be in the stands watching on as Kelvin Davis takes interim charge of the 18th placed Premier League side, with both sides looking to bounce back from poor weekend results.
As Pochettino aims to make a winning return after losing to Arsenal, the fans have been calling for him to throw in Kyle Walker-peters. The young academy graduate has been kicking around for a while at the club, getting sporadic minutes in the Premier League alongside his game time in the domestic cups. However, with the poor form of both Trippier and Serge Aurier, the Lilywhites really want to see the young versatile defender used at right-back tomorrow evening.

Tottenham supporters really want to see Walker-Peters tomorrow and will hope the full-back gets the nod ahead of the out-of-form Aurier and the returning Trippier.
