A lot of Tottenham fans have been complaining today as the news has been broken of when they will play against Chelsea in their Carabao Cup second-leg. The Lilywhites will be travelling to Stamford Bridge to decide who will play in the Wembley final on 24th January, and the fans are fuming over the fact that falls on a Thursday.
Our @Carabao_Cup semi-final second leg against Chelsea will take place at Stamford Bridge on Thu 24 Jan (7.45pm).

The last time Tottenham went to Stamford Bridge, they came away 3-1 winners, and if that happens again then the fact the game is on a Thursday will be less frustrating. However, with the FA Cup 4th round weekend being on the weekend of the 26th/27th and then Tottenham back in action again against Watford on the Wednesday after, the Lilywhites are set to face three games in just six days.
That sort of fixture congestion is what clubs become accustomed to over the Christmas and Easter periods, but to have that sort of run at the end of January is something that the fans are far from happy with, and they’ll be desperate to come through it without any injuries and still in the hunt for the Premier League title, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.

Damn it, if we make it thru we still have city to play and prob another FA cup round. We also have another CL match incoming if we do knock dortmund out. And i thought our schedule was not kind to us last year. pic.twitter.com/BsX7YrTtB9

4 games in 8 days. Sky really do have it in for us.

Why???!! This is getting ridiculous, people complain about a busy end of year schedule, and now they are making us play 4 games in 10 days again!

The Lilywhites hate the idea of playing Chelsea on a Thursday and will be hoping that they can shine and get through their rough patch of three games in six days.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
