Tottenham fans on Twitter love having Harry Kane back on the scoresheet

Last weekend saw Harry Kane bag his first Premier League goal in the month of August when he slotted home against Fulham in the Lilywhites’ 3-1 win over Slavisa Jokanovic’s side. Last night, though, he made sure it wasn’t a fluke as he bagged his second August goal with a towering header at Old Trafford.

Harry Kane has looked superb and very sharp alongside his new partner, Lucas Moura. The England captain is able to roam around a little deeper and let his Brazilian colleague make the runs off the shoulder of the last defender and it looks like a system that can be devastating. It’s no secret that Tottenham weren’t up to their best last night and they still managed to rip Jose Mourinho’s side apart with a clinical display.

After a tough first-half in Manchester, Mauricio Pochettino obviously said the right things in the dressing room as his side came out the blocks flying and were 2-0 up just seven minutes into the second half. Kane’s towering header into the top corner from a Kieran Trippier corner got the ball rolling before Lucas finished the Red Devils off with a double. It’s looking likely that Kane will be in the race for the Golden Boot this season and after losing it to Mo Salah last season he’ll be desperate to get it back.
