Tottenham fans don’t need any more reasons to love Mauricio Pochettino, however, they’ve stumbled across one on Twitter. Dele Alli scored the winning goal over Newcastle United at the weekend and his celebration has taken the internet by storm with a number of people unable to do it. Fortunately, Pochettino was on hand to show them how it’s done.

Mauricio Pochettino has revolutionised Tottenham Hotspur as a club since his arrival. The Argentine has taken them from a club that was flopping the race for the top four to Champions League regulars and serial overachievers in just four seasons at the helm. Before Pochettino’s appointment, the club lost 11-1 on aggregate to Manchester City in the 2013/14 season, however, in the 2015/16 season the Lillywhites beat them 6-2 over two legs.
The brilliant thing with Pochettino is that he gets the balance spot on between being friends with the players and being an authoritarian. There have been dozens of moments when you can see that Pochettino is like a father figure to his players but then he also knows when to put his foot down. It’s things like this, though, that have got both the fans and the players absolutely loving their gaffer as he knows when to have a laugh.

The fans will be devastated if Pochettino ever leaves them and for now, they’ll be hoping he can knuckle down and win some silverware with the club this season.
