Some players join a football club from abroad and just click with the fans. They understand the supporters and they thrive when playing for the badge on the front of the shirt. In return, the fans idolise these types of stars, and Heung-Min Son is certainly one of them at Tottenham, and the Lilywhites were gushing over the South Korean when he bagged his 50th goal for the club yesterday.

This season has seen Son play a lot fewer minutes than he would have wanted to. The South Korean hasn't been injured but he has been suffering from fatigue seeing as he was away with his country's U21 squad for the Asian Games as he battled his way to exemption from military service. Now though, that's all behind him and at the age of just 26, the tricky winger has a brilliant opportunity to turn his 50 Spurs goals into 100+.

His wonderful goal against Chelsea yesterday was probably his best in a Spurs shirt, and what a time to get it. Dele Alli fed the South Korean the ball down the right flank and with no options for Son, he drove at Chelsea. After breezing past Jorginho and skipping inside David Luiz, Wembley erupted as Son rolled the ball past Kepa Arrizabalaga to give Spurs a 3-0 lead, and it was a goal and a result that will live long in the memory for The Lilywhites, who absolutely adore Heung-Min Son.

The Lilywhites loved seeing Son bag against Chelsea to bring up goal number 50 and they'll be desperate for him to keep adding to that tally over the coming seasons.
