Tottenham fans on Twitter over the moon with Eriksen transfer latest

Tottenham fans have been worried for months that Christian Eriksen will be on his way out in the summer. The Danish midfielder has been at the club for a very long time and will be sorely missed when he does leave, but with this latest report from Goal, the Lilywhites may have longer to admire Eriksen in North London.

It seems that things are finally starting to click for Tottenham Hotspur and Mauricio Pochettino. The historic Champions League quarter-final win over Manchester City last week will be one that the supporters will never forget, and it’s seen them advance to the Champions League semi-finals for the first time in their history, something that could be enough to turn Eriksen’s head.
With the level of performance from Christian Eriksen over the last few months, a lot of the supporters believe that the Dane’s head is already in Madrid, yet it could be total rubbish. Should the Lilywhites advance past Ajax and into the Champions League final, anyone can win it, and it would be mightily hard to walk away from the club if Spurs were European champions, giving the fans hope of a potential Eriksen stay.
You can read the Lilywhites’ verdict on the Eriksen update here:
Eriksen is irreplaceable…insane pass without looking to Sonny today and his stats for miles covered show his effort.
Always available – as rarely injured.
Delighted if he stays.
Toby next please.

Great news this!! Although not been in great form lately. You’ll be surprised at his stats even in poor games. He’ll come good again no worries about that. Keep and build!!! #COYS

The Lilywhites are desperate for Eriksen to stay at the club and will do anything to ensure the Dane signs up.
