Yesterday was just one of those days for Tottenham Hotspur. The Lilywhites found themselves falling to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United at Wembley, however, they were far from outplayed and just lacked a clinical touch in front of goal. That has led to calls for Vincent Janssen, which were quickly turned down post-match.
For anyone hoping that Vincent Janssen might get a shot now he's back fit, I just asked Poch if the Dutchman has any chance of getting back into his first team plans. A very quick reply: "No, he's not in my plans." https://t.co/AECK6QDhyX

Popular Tottenham Hotspur journalist Alasdair Gold was in the post-match press conference and seeing as Harry Kane suffered what looks like a nasty injury towards the end of the game, he asked the Spurs boss whether there was any chance of Janssen making a career U-turn at the North London club, but Pochettino was quick to shut down any Janssen talk with a swift ‘No, he’s not in my plans’.
Pochettino’s answer was one that begged more questions. Whilst the Dutch striker has been far from impressive in his time at Tottenham, you’d think nobody is too far beyond redemption given the way Moussa Sissoko has come good. However, it seems that the Argentine is set on selling the £18.6 million summer signing from 2016, and it will be one that goes down as a massive flop after his huge failings.

So he'd rather have no striker rather than Janssen?

Interesting. Poch's responses about Janssen are always a short and direct no. I wonder what the story is behind it all

Beggars can’t be choosers comes to mind. Surely we may not have any choice but to get him involved if Kane is out.

Haha. Poch is a Savage

Janssen is dead to Poch.

Your gonna have to explain why he isn’t in your plans cause I hope you aren’t depending on llorente to do the business??????

The Lilywhites have no idea what Janssen has done for this treatment from Pochettino and will hope that, by some miracle, the Dutchman can force himself a chance.
