Tottenham Hotspur fans will know that the future of Mousa Dembele is up in the air, and whilst they’re all desperate to keep him at the club, the facts are that he’s on the decline and he wants one last big payday. That’s where these rumours from Sky Sports come in, as an approach has been made for the Belgian by Chinese club Beijing Sinobo Guoan.#

The Lilywhites hate the idea of losing out on Dembele, but none of the fans are willing to stand in his way if a move is what the midfielder wants. Dembele will be turning 32 in July this year and whilst the fans have a massive love for the midfielder, the last thing they want is for things to sour between him and the club. So if he wants to leave for China, they’ll be gutted, but they won’t hold it against Dembele.
The only question that will come up if Dembele is to leave is who will replace him. In his prime, Dembele was an unbelievable player. His ability to hold the ball up, glide past opponents and make things happen from deeper before feeding into players like Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli who grab the goals and assists is extremely underrated, and he will certainly be missed by everyone associated with Tottenham Hotspur.
You can read the Lilywhites’ thoughts on Dembele here:
If it does happen, good luck MD, you have been a pleasure to watch over the years. Spurs always your home.

We need to keep him. Even in a part time role he would be an asset. So dominant on the ball. Would be very hard to replace #COYS

A really really good player. Sad he leaves but that might give us the possibility to sign a new cm.

In his prime a brilliant player.

Honestly going to be emotional when he leaves, have always loved him, but his time is up unfortunately; he hasn’t been at his best for a long while now and we can get a lot of money

The Lilywhites would love to keep Dembele at the club, but they understand that if the Belgian wants a move then they won’t stand in his way from making it.
