Yesterday afternoon saw Tottenham snatch a 93rd-minute winner to down sorry Fulham at Craven Cottage, however, they made it very hard for themselves after going in at half-time 1-0 down courtesy of a Fernando Llorente own goal. Dele Alli levelled it for the Lilyhwites, but then, in dramatic fashion, GK N’Koudou set up Harry Winks to win it.

Whilst it’s easy to look straight at the match winner and heap praise on him, this time around, as much as Winks deserves the credit, the fans have been raving over Georges-Kevin N’Koudou’s assist. The Frenchman’s Spurs career looked to be dead and buried until he pulled yesterday’s sublime cross out of the bag, and he may yet have a Tottenham career after all now.
If Mauricio Pochettino can do with N’Koudou what he did with Moussa Sissoko and get the Lilywhites singing his praise week in week out then he will be a certified miracle worker. However, one good cameo appearance doesn’t mean the ex-Marseille man is back in favour, and the injury to Dele Alli will likely mean that the Frenchman will have a part to play on Thursday against Chelsea, where if he shines he could seal a place in Tottenham history.
You can read the Lilywhites’ verdict on N’Koudou here:
He deserves a to be in the squad, I have always liked him.

The Lilywhites will be desperate to see N’Koudou repeat his Fulham heroics against the Cottagers’ local rivals Chelsea this week and will be delighted if Poch starts the Frenchman.
