Tottenham fans on Twitter want to see more from Foyth after West Ham masterclass

Yesterday evening saw Tottenham smash West Ham 3-1 at The London Stadium in the Carabao Cup 4th round, setting up a tie with Arsenal in the next round. However, The Lilywhites will be keen to see more from Juan Foyth in the coming weeks after his superb performance in the cup.

Juan Foyth signed for the club back in summer 2017. The Argentine is a superb young defender and recently, despite the fact he’s played next to no minutes for his club, he received a first call-up for his country. That has now been added to as he’s won the man of the match for his club against West Ham yesterday. Now, after a smashing display for his club, the fans have been calling for Foyth to get a few more minutes.
The Argentine is one of Tottenham’s four out and out centre-backs, alongside the likes of Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez. Eric Dier can also fill in at the back, although, with Vertonghen now looking like he won’t be playing until at least December, it could provide young Foyth with another few chances to impress, especially as they have a lot of games coming up over the festive period.

man of the match, ! Poch play him in a CDM role, just be the player we need in midfield!

Deserved it. Got to mention Sanchez, 2 games in 48hrs. Both were brilliant

Well deserved. Lovely to see a ball carrying CB taking on and beating midfielders.

Some of his tackles were goal-saving tackles. Well played, Juan.
