Yesterday saw Tottenham Hotspur become the 12th Premier League side to be eliminated from the FA Cup yesterday when they fell to a 2-0 defeat at Selhurst Park. Things could have been very different though had their substitutions in-game been better, with the fans picking up on the dire changes as they slumped to a second defeat in four days.
81 – Kazaiah comes on for the final 10 mins:

Whilst the Eagles were well worth their 2-0 victory, striking early in the first half before defending excellently throughout the second, Tottenham did little in the way of game management to get back into it. Erik Lamela replaced Jan Vertonghen as Mauricio Pochettino shuffled his pack at half-time, but then he followed up with a straight swap Victor Wanyama on for Eric Dier before giving Kazaiah Sterling a late run-out in place of Lucas Moura.
There’s not much that looked like happening in the second 45 minutes yesterday, although it could have been changed had Pochettino’s in-game changes been more effective. The fans were baffled as to how the likes of Harry Winks and Danny Rose were overlooked as game-changers, and couldn’t believe it when Fernando Llorente managed to play out a full 90 minutes despite his shockingly poor display.

Wrong sub, why is Llorente still on
— Hotspur Army (@HotspurArmy) January 27, 2019
I would of taken Llorente off

Not bringing on Rose and Winks is clear indication of not taking it seriously……giving Wyanyma, back from injury, and Sterling, u 21 player, on instead. Says a lot….

Why put Wanyama on! Dreadful passer!
And what planet is trippier on!
