Yesterday saw Tottenham Hotspur take to Twitter to share a tweet that went down extremely well with the fans. It was exactly eight years to the day yesterday that Tottenham came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 on what will go down as one of Tottenham’s best results in Premier League history.

50′: Arsenal 2-0 Spurs
— Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) 20 November 2018
After the Lilywhites found themselves 2-0 down with 40 minutes left to play at The Emirates, the belief amongst the fans was pretty low. No one had any faith in what was about to happen actually coming about and because of that it’s a result that every Tottenham fan remembers fondly. Second half goals from Gareth Bale, Rafa van der Vaart and Younes Kaboul gave The Lilywhites a 3-2 win and the supporters still love it to this day.
Over the next few weeks, we could be seeing Tottenham try and draw inspiration from that famous day at The Emirates as they go into a tough run of fixtures where they’ll be facing Chelsea, Inter Milan and Arsenal in the space of just eight days. If things go well then The Lilywhites could be well then they could find themselves looking back on those eight days of football in the same way that look back to that win against Arsenal, although they’ve still got it all to do.

The Lilywhites won’t be forgetting that Arsenal game anytime soon and will hope they can replicate it when they face Arsenal in a couple of weeks time.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
