Tottenham are privileged to have strong options all across their back four and whilst they didn't have a full-strength side last night against Inter Milan, they still had quality in their lineup. With that being said, the fans will be desperate to see Kieran Trippier make a return on Saturday against Brighton and they've been showing their appreciation for the defender on his birthday.

Trippier has had a very strong few years at Tottenham. Ever since the club opted to sell Kyle Walker to Manchester City and signed Serge Aurier to share the burden with Trippier the 28-year-old has thrived. His delivery and passing range from both set pieces and open play make him a constant threat and after he lit up the World Cup with England the fans have been loving seeing him out on the pitch doing his thing.

Aurier didn't have a bad game last night but there's no doubting that most of the Lilywhites believe that Trippier if the club's first choice right-back and they'd all rather have seen his name on the teamsheet than Aurier's. It was known that he wouldn't play at The San Siro as he was rested and didn't travel but the supporters will be hoping that isn't the case come Saturday with Brighton as they aim to bounce back after three straight defeats.

The fans are loving seeing the player that Trippier has turned into and will be keen to see him back to his brilliant best against Brighton on Saturday.
