Many Tottenham fans have reacted to potential interest in England manager Gareth Southgate.
Will this be Mauricio Pochettino's last season at Tottenham?
Football podcaster and writer for Last Word On Spurs Ricky Sacks tweeted out a story from his personal account saying that Spurs are ready to go after Southgate to succeed Mauricio Pochettino, but many fans weren’t willing to contemplate the idea.
According to a story from the Daily Star, Southgate is Spurs’ first choice to replace the club’s current coach, saying that the Tottenham hierarchy sees him as the “perfect man” to take over once Pochettino eventually leaves N17.
It’s been a rocky start for Pochettino and his Spurs side after the hangover of the Champions League final defeat: they are out of the EFL Cup, have only 11 points from seven games and could only manage a point against the Greek Super League runners-up in Olympiacos.
However, that hasn’t meant that fans want rid of the Argentinian – and it certainly hasn’t meant that they want the current England coach, as you can tell from the replies below…
Na I’m good thanks

There isn't one supporter that would be happy with that clown as manager.
I'd take David Pleat ahead of him.

I’d love to him to manage spurs, but hate Poch to leave
