Tottenham fans take to Twitter to bed for Dele return

Tottenham fans have struggled with severe injury issues this season. Almost every single player in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad has been crocked and sidelined at some point this season and ahead of what promises to be a massive clash with Arsenal tomorrow, it looks like they’re set to be without Dele Alli again.

Dele Alli is one of the Lilywhites most gifted players and when he’s unavailable there is a huge void in Tottenham’s squad. Poch has a number of top players at his disposal like Heung-Min Son and Christian Eriksen who can fill in and do some of the work that Alli does when the England man is out, yet when Alli gets going in his role behind Harry Kane he can be devastating.

The 22-year-old has made a habit of scoring crucial goals and the last goal that was scored in a North London derby came off the boot of Dele Alli as he tucked home an audacious chip over the head of Petr Cech to make the score 2-0 in the Carabao Cup clash between the two sides back in December at The Emirates. That flair and guile that Dele brings to the side is incredibly tough to replace and it’s hard to see a way that Poch sets up to cope with the midfielder’s absence.

Tottenham fans will be desperate to get Dele back as soon as possible and will be hoping he can have an immediate impact when he finally returns.
