Tottenham fans take to Twitter to call for Janssen’s linked Burnley move

Despite the fact that Vincent Janssen seems to have done something unthinkable given Mauricio Pochettino’s treatment of him, the Lilywhites are still keen to see him do well. It seems that he’s not going to get the chance to do so at Spurs, and with The Daily Mail reporting that he could be moving to Burnley, the Lilywhites would love to see it happen.

Mauricio Pochettino has made it very clear that Janssen isn’t in his plans despite the fact that his chances in North London have been limited. The Lilywhites were all very excited over Janssen when he joined the club in summer 2016 for a reported fee of £17 million, yet he never got going and was loaned to Fenerbahce the following season.
This time around, it seems that the Dutchman is keen to get away from the club on more than just a temporary basis and he’s turned down a move to Sevilla because of that. However, Burnley are supposedly lurking with a £15 million bid and some striker problems of their own, and the Lilywhites would love to see him go to Turf Moor and shine.

Genuinely think he'd be excellent at Burnley. Not top 4 quality but would do well at a mid table club with a good run of games.

He would do really well at them just doesnt suit our style of football

This makes good sense at both ends. Think he could really do a job there too actually.

Be a good move for him. He's a good player

The Lilywhites would love to see Janssen impress at Burnley and are resigned to the fact that his Tottenham career is dead.
