Tottenham fans have been given the amazing news that Heung-Min Son will be returning to the club a lot earlier than expected. Whilst South Korea were one of the sides tipped to win the Asian Cup, they couldn’t get past Qatar in the quarter-finals, losing 1-0 yesterday. That’s good news for Spurs fans, though, as Son will be making an early return.

The Lilywhites were starting to fear that Son may be away for the longest possible period of time and that their midfielder would come away with a medal for his efforts. Whilst the player himself will be gutted after failing to deliver in the same way as he did with the Asian Games last September, he’ll be glad to get back to Tottenham and start performing to put the international upset behind him.
It’s certainly easier said than done for the winger, but if he can get some goals under his belt against Watford on Wednesday and then get some form before the Lilywhites’ Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund and force his side through then he’ll surely be able to forget about the disappointment in the United Arab Emirates.

The Lilywhites would have been delighted for Son had he won the Asian Cup, yet they’re all delighted that he’s coming back to London sooner than expected.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
