Tottenham fans take to Twitter to demand Rabiot signing for meagre £20 million

Tottenham fans on Twitter have long been linked with a move for Adrien Rabiot. The PSG midfielder is a top player and would no doubt be a great addition to their squad. However, with a Transfermarkty valuation of £45 million, he looked out of Tottenham’s budget. That is until The Daily Mail have claimed he could be set to move for a mere £20 million.

Rabiot’s contract at PSG expires in the summer and the player has refused to negotiate a new deal with the French club. Speculation was rife that he’d be moving to Barcelona in the summer on a free transfer, however, now that the Catalan club have welcomed Frenkie De Jong to the club from Ajax, the chances of Rabiot being signed alongside the Dutchman are very slim.

However, at Tottenham, the need for central midfielders is a serious one. Mauricio Pochettino allowed Mousa Dembele to depart earlier this month and Rabiot fits the bill as a replacement for the Belgian. Standing at six foot three inches tall, having a sweet left-foot and being able to glide past players with ease, Rabiot is the most obvious replacement for Spurs recently departed Belgian and the fans all want to see him come in.

The Lilywhites are more than desperate to sign someone in this window and would love to see Rabiot come in even if he is their own signing.
