Tottenham fans take to Twitter to fume at Poch’s touchline ban

Mauricio Pochettino is one of the nicest manages in the business if you ask Tottenham fans. It’s not hard to see that the Argentine carries himself with grace and decorum yet after one little outburst the FA have slapped him with a two-game touchline ban and a £10,000 fine, leaving all associated with the Lilywhites absolutely seething.
BREAKING: @SpursOfficial manager Mauricio Pochettino has been handed a two-game touchline ban and fined £10,000 for improper conduct after their away defeat to Burnley.

It’s become commonplace in the Premier League to see Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola and others raging at referees and fuming at fourth officials, yet you never see them get touchline bans. However, Pochettino was rightly angry at Mike Dean after his side’s loss to Burnley and Turf Moor and after making his feelings known, Dean provoked the Argentine into making things worse.
After that incident 11 days ago it’s been known that the Tottenham gaffer will be hit with some kind of punishment, yet to hear he’s now going to be in the stands as they take on both Southampton and Liverpool in the Premier League is a massive blow. No one wants to see their manager amongst the crowd and Spurs fans are no different, especially seeing as one of those two games is going to be absolutely crucial when they face Liverpool.

No fine or ban for Mike Dean for his comments then?

Some joke! Klopp only gets a fine and Poch gets a ban? Suppose the LFC Sky media won’t see anything wrong with this

10 grand for having a go at someone who intentionally tried to provoke him? yeh that seams fair…

This is a joke Poch is normally a model pro. What Dean said that incensed him, Perez and Jimenez must have been BAD! Refs must be investigated too!

But what did mike dean say that poch wanted him to repeat whilst the tv cameras were there?? That’s what we all want to know.

But Klopp gets away with everything….

Time to release what Mike Dean said to him then. Can’t let him get away with it.

The Lilywhites hate the way this has all played out and will just hope Pochettino’s absence on the Anfield sidelines doesn’t affect his side too much in the crucial clash.
