Tottenham fans have been caught up in the Manchester United managerial hunt for a while now seeing as the two leading candidates for the job in summer are Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Mauricio Pochettino. However, The Evening Standard has claimed that United are preparing to pay Spurs a huge compensation fee for their Argentine.

Tottenham have come on leaps and bounds since Mauricio Pochettino took over in summer 2014 and it will come as no surprise to anyone that he’s been looked at by the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United. However, his loyalty to Tottenham is mightily impressive, and the Lilywhites remain confident of keeping him at the club despite the interest from United.
So far, the rumours of Pochettino leaving have been hot and cold. When Jose Mourinho first left United the papers couldn’t get enough of the rumours linking Poch with a Tottenham exit. However, when Solskjaer started firing at Old Trafford the rumours died down. Now though, the Norwegian has lost his first game as the United boss and low and behold, Pochettino’s name is back on the pres’ lips.

Wow, been quiet for months, OGS loses one game and the rumours are back. God it must be a hard job being a jurno.

What a load of rubbish. Poch will not leave Spurs for Utd. We all know where he’ll go if he decides to leave.

The Lilywhites hate the way their manager is being passed about in the press and will be delighted if Solskjaer gets the full-time United job to end the speculation.
