Tottenham fans have been left rubbishing rumours left, right and centre this month. After a summer that saw them sign a grand total of zero players, the Lilywhites are struggling to see anyone coming in now either. However, The Sun has linked them with a bold move for West Ham’s Marko Arnautovic, yet they’re still pessimistic over the coup.
[@SunSport] reports Tottenham Hotspur are favourites to snap up Marko Arnautovic if a move to China falls through.

The Lilywhites have little faith in signing anyone, let alone a £45 million 29-year-old from a club that hates them. When you look at it like that, as most Tottenham fans are, then you can understand why they’re not confident of pulling this one off, and in truth, a lot of Spurs fans wouldn’t want the Austrian anyway. The experienced Premier League man has proven to be a handful in the past, and he’s not what they need.
The more likely option for the Lilywhites this window, if they opt to make any signings at all, is a move for a young English starlet to be used towards their homegrown quota, and that’s the sort of signing that Mauricio Pochettino will be more keen to make as opposed to bringing in a veteran foreigner for big money. Only time will tell how the Lilywhites act this month, but the fans are probably going to be right on this one.

He won’t spend 50p let alone 50mil come on rick

About as much credibility in their reporting as there is in Arnautovic being a loyal member of a squad.

I cant see that happening ever.

The Lilywhites understand that Arnie could be a great asset to their squad but his age and the financial impact his signing would have just don’t make sense.
