Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern are starting to sweat around the bar and it’s not because our heating is broken.
The Sun says the club itself are also worried, as Spurs are concerned that their highly-rated manager will become Manchester United’s prime managerial target after the latest developments concerning Jose Mourinho.
Paris Saint-Germain reportedly made an approach to Mourinho yesterday, which gave Manchester United a huge competitor in the chase to secure the Portuguese boss’ signature- and there is concerns they could miss out on his services altogether.
If that is the case, then United could indeed step-up their interest in Spurs’ excelling Argentine boss Pochettino, who has turned the north London side from Champions League aspirers to Premier League title chasers.
Tottenham are just five points behind Leicester City with four games to go and with a selection of tough fixtures for the Foxes, Pochettino’s side will be hopeful of a sensational run of form to climb to the top of the Premier League.
Will an exit for Pochettino shatter the development of Tottenham? Let us know in the comments below!
