Tottenham handed massive boost heading into 2014/15

Hugo Lloris Tottenham Hotspur fans have been given a bit of good news and they are in the Football Transfer Tavern celebrating.

That’s because, according to talkSPORT, French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will stay at White Hart Lane this season despite being linked with a host of top clubs.

Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco, Real Madrid and Premier League rivals Manchester City were all reportedly interested in the French number one.

But speaking after France’s quarter-final defeat to Germany, Lloris all but confirmed that he will be staying in North London in 2014/15.

“Yes, I should be [at Spurs next season],” Lloris told reporters.

“[But] I don’t want to speak about my situation now. I need a few days to recover and after that to relax, have a good rest and come back for next season.”

“I think I will speak soon about that and we will deal with it.”
