Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern feel their side may have finally found the perfect strike partner for Harry Kane, with reports suggesting a move is on the cards for one of Europe’s most exciting forwards.
The Daily Mirror states Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a fee with Dutch side AZ Alkmaar for the services of Vincent Janssen, who finished as top-scorer in the Eredivisie last season.
21-year-old Janssen’s form last season has attracted a host of Europe’s top sides in the transfer market this summer, after he scored an astonishing 27 goals in 34 games for the Dutch giants.
Atletico Madrid and AC Milan are just some of the big sides interested in Janssen’s signature but he prefers a move to England, with Spurs having agreed a fee of around £12m with the Dutch side and now set to talk with the player himself.
With Spurs looking for a quality strike partner for Harry Kane next season, our landlord believes Janssen could be the perfect signing.
