The Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern are excited about the future after being linked with some top young stars.
And it looks like they have won the race for one of Europe’s hottest young talents, beating Manchester United to his signing.
According to reports in the Turkish media, Tottenham have secured a deal for Cengiz Under.
Turkish radio show Radyospor (reported via Turkish Football) are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal with Basaksehir to sign wonder kid Cengiz Under.
Manchester United were also very keen on signing Cengiz Under but Spurs look like they have won the race after agreeing an £8m deal for the starlet.
The diminutive winger, who can also play as a striker, has caught the eye with some top performances for Basaksehir in the Turkish Super Lig – the top division in Turkey.
Spurs had held lengthy talks with Basaksehir for the twice-capped Turkey international before agreeing on an £8m fee.
Cengiz Under has already scored his first national goal (against Moldova) and he also netted 7 goals in 31 appearances for his club side.
The 19-year-old looks set for a bright future and North London looks like the next destination for the talented teenager.
