Tottenham fans in the Football Transfer Tavern draw up their options after the London Evening Standard explained how Mauricio Pochettino will scour the length and breadth of Portugal as he looks to re-shape Spurs.
There are three players at the top of their shopping list in the Portuguese market.
Two of the three targets play for Benfica with scouts having closely watched Eduardo Salvio and Anderson Talisca.
And the other player that Spurs are keeping tabs on is Braga winger Rafa Silva.
Firstly Benfica’s Salvio is a highly rated forward and the Argentine has been given a £25m price tag, which may be a stumbling block for Daniel Levy.
Whilst his fellow teammate, Talisca, has been also linked with Chelsea but he may opt for a move to White Hart Lane as he would have more chance of playing.
And last, but not least, Braga winger Silva has been likened to Eden Hazard and has a release clause of £17.7m.
As our landlord quips, if he is to become a player anywhere near Hazard’s standard in the Premier League then Spurs would be stupid not to sign him!
Tottenham fans. Would you take all three or do you need to be careful not to sign too many foreign players with no Premier League experience? Let us know your thoughts below.
