Tottenham Hotspur fans believe Jermaine Jenas was correct with his assessment on how things at the club are currently going, with many of them sharing their reactions on Twitter.
Jenas, a guy who has been within the club. He knows what the clubs like behind closed doors. He’s not a fool, listen to what he says and take notice! pic.twitter.com/iO44oNeaCx

Having witnessed Spurs collapse to a 3-0 defeat at Brighton and Hove Albion in Saturday’s early kick-off, the ex-midfielder stated that he felt the issues were above Mauricio Pochettino and that the blame needed to go higher than just the manager.
Speaking in his punditry role for BT Sport, Jenas believed everyone from Daniel Levy to the Argentine and his players could be held accountable for what has been happening this season for the north London outfit, whilst suggesting it is a situation that he has experienced with the club and it ‘stinks of it’.
“The blame lies with them all, don’t get me wrong,” he said. “I think Daniel, in terms of his support of his manager, has not been great. The timing of the signings and the amount of signings coming into the club has not been great. I think the players are not applying themselves to the level that they should be, and I do believe within all that, that Mauricio probably has a look at himself, maybe theres a part of him that has felt like ‘you know what, that’s as far as I can take this football club and this group of players and now you can see I was right in what I was saying'”.
He then went on to say he hopes that the club sorts it out before adding: “I’ve seen this at Tottenham, I’ve been in the dressing room, I’ve been at the club when it happens, it stinks of that at the minute.”
Fans appeared to completely agree with what Jenas had been saying after the game, with many believing their former midfielder hit the nail on the head.
