Tottenham Hotspur are in the thick of things having reportedly secured separate agreements for Paulo Dybala and Giovani Lo Celso (via BBC Sport), however, BBC Sport’s David Ornstein has stated that Dybala’s potential move to Spurs is now off. Nevertheless, it seems the club aren’t finished yet.
According to The Daily Mail, Tottenham are interested in a move for Nice right-back Youcef Atal.

The move follows the ankle injury to Juan Foyth, who is expected to be out until September.
The club have also reportedly agreed a deal with Fulham to sign young left-back Ryan Sessegnon for a fee believed to be £25m.
The Lilywhites have signed two players in the transfer window so far with Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke joining from Olympique Lyonnais and Leeds United respectively.
Indeed, the north London club look desperate to secure multiple deals today, and fans think a move for Atal would be the cherry on top.
Here is a selection of reactions from Spurs fans following the reports:

It’s clear to see that Spurs fans are praying that Daniel Levy can at least get a potential deal for the African defender over the line, with a right-back needed after Kieran Trippier’s move to Atletico Madrid. Levy has already spent a whopping sum of £69.3 million (via Transfermarkt) on transfers this summer, but splashing out once again to sign a right-back could prove crucial as Kyle Walker-Peters has been linked with a move away, which leaves Serge Aurier as Spurs’ only other right-back in the first team squad.
