Tottenham Hotspur: Fans slam Moussa Sissoko for his performance against Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspur fans were fuming with what they saw from Moussa Sissoko in the north London derby on Sunday afternoon.

Spurs were 2-0 up as they entered the final stages of the first half with goals from Christain Eriksen and Harry Kane from the penalty spot, however Alexandre Lacazette reduced the deficit just before the break.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang then levelled the match as both sides had to share a spoil of the points at the Emirates Stadium in a very entertaining encounter (Sky Sports).

Spurs, arguably, were fortunate to escape with a point as the hosts had a goal disallowed for offside and continued to threaten their goal, however they did have their own chances to steal all of the three points on offer.

Moussa Sissoko had a couple of glorious opportunities to make an impact at the other end, however he failed to make the most of them as he over-hit passes and blasted shots over the crossbar.

Football London gave him a positive review, as they scored him at a seven and wrote: “Full of energy and popped up all over the pitch, all while trying to cover Sanchez. Found himself running through at goal in the final minutes but over-hit his pass to Kane in the key moment. Kane passed to him in the final seconds as well but he blasted over. Could have been the hero but those positions are just not where you want to see him. Loses a mark for those attacking decisions when he could have won it”.

However, fans were far from happy on Twitter regarding the France international’s performance and took to the social media network to slam him.

Here are some of their reactions…
