Crystal Palace supporters in the Football Transfer Tavern have been delighted with the transfer business done by their club this summer, however recent reports linking Yannick Bolasie with a move to London rivals Tottenham have left some fans concerned.
However, the Evening Standard reports that Palace remain adamant Bolasie will not be sold this summer.
Alan Pardew stated that he valued Bolasie at a massive £40million towards the end of last season, and sees him as integral to his plans to improve on Palace’s record 10th placed finish last term.
The Standard reported last month that Tottenham were keen to bring Bolasie to White Hart Lane, with Mauricio Pochettino eager to add some more creativity to his side.
Spurs reportedly view Bolasie as the ideal replacement for England international Andros Townsend – who the club are looking to sell – but Palace have made it clear that their star man will not be going anywhere.
A group of Palace fans over by the fruit machine here in the Transfer Tavern are very. very happy with this news – with them all agreeing that Bolasie is such an influential element of their team, and it would be awful to see him leave!
