Today it is fans of Tottenham Hotspur who seem to be getting rowdy over the prospect of the Dortmund Striker making a move to White Hart Lane in the near future.
This comes off the back of an in-depth report by the Express, claiming that Arsenal have already made one bid for the German-based player but now Daniel Levy is ready to hijack any negotiation between their rival North London club and Borussia Dortmund, and offer up the £30 million that is being touted as the striker’s price tag.
The sale of such a high-rated goal scorer, at a time when Ciro Immobile has recently left for Sevilla, is one that would surely cost a lot of money for whichever club did end up landing the player.
The pub landlord interrupted some heated debate and gave his opinion: “I am not sure if I can see this one happening, but imagine how sweet it would be for Spurs fans getting their man, knowing that Arsenal missed out”.
Spurs fans lets hear what you think? Could you see yourself getting this player? Is he worth the money? Let us know below!
