Tottenham Hotspur misfit flies to Spain to secure transfer away

Fiorentina v Tottenham Hotspur - UEFA Europa League Second Round Second LegThe Guardian have managed to get Tottenham Hotspur fans looking up with interest as it seems that Tottenham Hotspur are finally ready to get rid of Roberto Soldado.

The flop forward has flown to Spain to secure a move to Villarreal, and it seems that he is determined to make sure his exit from the club goes through this summer, after a miserable time since joining Spurs.

As one of our punters notes, there is no way Spurs can possibly compete with the top four sides having a forward who cannot score goals, and seeing him leave the club and bringing someone else in could well be the first step for them in trying to make sure they can get Champions League football back at the club.

Our landlord agrees with the punters here in the Tavern, and feel that the striker simply could not hack it in the Premier League… Enjoy Spain!

Spurs fans. Is this something you have waited for months to see? Who would you like to bring into the club instead? Is Hernandez someone you’d like to sign? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
