Tottenham Hotspur prepare £23.5M move for 17-goal Frenchman, summer move set to take place

The Spurs fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been in fine voice this season with their team pushing Leicester City all the way in the race to win the Premier League title.

With Spurs running out of games to chase the Foxes down, it could be next season where we see the North London-based club really show their true colours and several quality acquisitions have been lined-up for the summer.

Our landlord has spotted an article in his copy of The Mirror that suggest Mauricio Pochettino is set to sign Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette during the summer, in a deal worth £23.5 million.

The Frenchman is wanted by Spurs to add some competition for the impressive Harry Kane and with the club set to embark on a Champions League campaign, top quality additions are necessary.

One Spurs fan is waiting for the Sunday night quiz to start here in the Tavern and he thinks the striker would be a great signing, stating that he could form a formidable partnership with Kane next season.

Spurs fans, would you welcome Lacazette? Where would he play for the team?
