Tottenham Hotspur set to move for talented Serie A attacking playmaker?

Keisuke HondaSome exciting news coming in for the Spurs fans who are already a few pints deep here in the Football Transfer Tavern!

The Metro are reporting that Mauricio Pochettino is ready to pounce to sign Japanese International star. Keisuke Honda, as he is apparently asking for a move away from his current club AC Milan.

Since his move to Italy, from CSKA Moscow in 2013 the attacking midfielder has only managed to score 8 goals in 46 appearances – a wholly unimpressive record compared to his previous tallies in the Russian Premier League.

Steven by the  dartboard put down his pint to have a say about the midfield ace: “I’ve always bought him on Fifa – and he has been class! In all seriousness though we need more attacking options this year, so sign him up I say!”

Our landlord here in the Tavern is optimistic about Spurs this season, and he feels that Honda would definitely add a new threat to the club’s attacking force!

Spurs fans…… What do you think? Would you like to see Honda at the Lane? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
